Congratulations Tim!

We are pleased to announce that your application has been accepted as one of our thirty (30) participants for 2008. We’d like to extend this as an official invitation to you and your team for the 2008 JEGS ENGINE MASTERS CHALLENGE. We are very excited and looking forward to seeing your competitive entry’s performance in this, our 7th year of competition. It is your commitment and dedication to this program that makes it such a prestigious event.

This year’s program will be held on September 29th – October 3rd at the University of Northwestern Ohio’s 70,000 sq-ft, high-performance complex.

Darin Morgan and I have teamed up to build an engine for the Engine Masters Challenge in 2008. I have always wanted to build a combination for the Engine Masters Challenge but never had the free time to devote to the task. This year Darin and I decided to MAKE time and do this to the best of our ability. Our team will split the duties on the combination to better utilize our time and energy. I will devote my time to optimizing the combination and the engine building tasks. Darin will devote his time primarily to the cylinder heads and overall induction system. We have been putting our heads together over the last couple months and we feel we have a combination that will give them a run for there money. The competition is STEEP and many of these guys have years of R&D on us with these low engine speed, pump gas combinations. We have our work cut out for us.

Wish us luck!
